Situation: Client got married during a year. How to update the name and add spouse name to TaxCaddy?
Solution:
The client will need to add the spouse from their end. Unfortunately, there is no way to add the spouse from the firm side once the client has been created and connected in TaxCaddy. The spouse documents can be uploaded/requested in the same document section of the account that you’ve been using, both the spouse and the taxpayer will be able to access them to upload and fulfill requests once the spouse has registered.
